I'm Thankful For...

With Thanksgiving being this week I have been thinking about all of the things that I am thankful for.  First of all I want to say thank you Jesus that my parents obeyed his call to live for him, so that I could be raised in a Godly home!!  I am thankful for wonderful parents that loved me, taught me the truth, prayed for me when I was going wayward but also loved to have a great time, I have so many fun memories of things that we did as a family.  I am who I am today because of them, because they never stopped praying for their kids!  I am thankful that God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and three handsome boys.  Now it is my turn to love them, teach them the truth, pray for them and make sure that they have memories of the fun times when they get older.  I am also thankful for the great pastor that God has put in our lives, to love us, teach us the truth and pray for us.

Thank you Jesus for your many blessings!!

Memorial Service Audio

Bro. Eugene Rushing preached the morning service on 11-14-2010, the title of his message was "Children in the Arms of a Pagan God".  I would like to say thank you to Bro. & Sis. Rushing for coming and to Bro. Rushing thank you for a great message.  I had to make the audio into a video file to be able to put it in the blog (with too much hassle), so there are some pictures of Bro. Rushing preaching and then it will go to a blank screen as the audio finishes.

Memories

This is a picture of my dad at the Santa Ana church, this was given to me by Ernesto Lavenant.  Ernesto was a saint in the Santa Ana church (that is him on the right and my uncle Lee Davis on the left side).  If you have a picture or a story about my parents that you would like to send to me, I think that would be a great way to share the memories.  Send it to sharonsuelavenant@sbcglobal.net

Thank You!

I want to personally thank everyone that came or sent a message to the service honoring my parents.  I had a great day, and it is hard to describe the feelings that I had.  It was good to see everyone and it brought back a lot of good memories!
